Front Porch is committed to the protection of your privacy on the Internet. Our US ‘Smarter Advertising’ privacy policy is explained in this document (“Front Porch Inc. US Advertising Privacy Policy”), detailing the types of information we collect and use for advertising purposes.

Front Porch Does Not Collect and Use Personal Information
Front Porch does not collect and use any of your personally identifiable information (“Personally Identifiable Information”, or “PII”). PII is information used to identify an individual, such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or credit card number. Even on an anonymous basis, we will also not collect and use any sensitive information including certain medical/health conditions or sexual orientation.

What Information Does Front Porch Collect?
Information may be collected for every user who shares a connection. 

Information may include:

      •  Links and advertisements you click on
      •  Searches you conduct
      •  Web browsers you use
      •  Cookies for content partners

How Do We Use This Information?
Front Porch uses anonymous information to determine your interests based on Web pages visited.  Our Advertising Content Partners then deliver relevant advertising based on those interests at sites you visit on the Web and for analytics. You will not see more ads as a result of the ‘Smart Advertising’ program; you will just see ads that are more relevant to you.

Customer Choice
Front Porch is committed to Customer Choice. You always have a choice whether or not to participate in the ‘Smarter Advertising’ program. Front Porch requires network providers to communicate directly with you to determine if ‘Smarter Advertising’ is right for you. Front Porch offers network providers the option of using our industry-leading ‘Direct to the Browser’ messaging technology to communicate with you while you are online.

If you choose to remove yourself from the service, Front Porch may use your IP Address and/or other information from the network provider to ensure that we can permanently honor this choice.

Front Porch also hosts a Customer Choice page, www.smarter-choice.com, which allows you to stop or start the ‘Smarter Advertising’ program any time you are on the network. Please consult your Internet provider’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to learn more about how to modify your Customer Choice.

With Whom Do We Share Information?
We may share any of the anonymous information we collect with our Advertising Content Partners for the purpose of providing Front Porch ‘Smarter Advertising’ Services.
All Front Porch Advertising Content Partners are bound by the privacy terms of this agreement.

We will disclose individual anonymous information to appropriate law enforcement or judicial authorities only to comply with valid legal processes such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order to cooperate with a law enforcement investigation, or to protect our rights and property. We will only disclose individual anonymous information when we believe that in good faith the law requires it.

In the event that Front Porch becomes involved in a sale, merger or acquisition, any information collected may be considered an asset and included in the transfer.

Cookies
Front Porch, or our Advertising Content Partners, uses cookies to: recognize when you have returned to a site, to deliver more relevant content, and to target advertising. A cookie is a small text file sent to a user’s browser. Browsers generally accept cookies, but can be configured to refuse cookies. Disabling cookies may result in some features not functioning.

Policy Changes and Enforcement
This policy is subject to periodic change. If we make material changes to this privacy policy an update will be made on our website.
